The Assembleia da República of Portugal took over the presidency of the EU Speakers' Conference on May 28, 2007. The meeting of the Secretaries-General will be held on 4 April 2008, and the meeting of the EU Speakers on 20 - 21 June 2008, both in Lisbon.
