The Danish Parliament will be hosting the 2006 Conference of Speakers of EU Parliaments. The Conference will be held at the Danish Parliament from June 29^th to July 2^nd 2006.

As it was underlined at the last conference, held in Budapest, it is important that the Conferences of Speakers of EU Parliaments be seen as a continuous process, and the Danish presidency intends to continue the work which has been initiated during the previous presidency.

The new language regime, which worked in a very satisfactory way in Hungary, will be applied in Copenhagen.

• The Presidency Conclusions of the Conference of EU Speakers, Copenhagen 2006
  The Conference of EU Speakers meeting in Copenhagen on 30 June - 1 July ended with the approval of Presidency Conclusions. The Speakers called on the Danish Presidency to publish the conclusions on the Speakers website and forward them to the President of the European Commission, The President of the Council, and to the COSAC Troika.
